Genevieve’s first birthday was on Thursday and the party was yesterday. It was so stressful to organize and plan. I wanted it to be special because even though to me all birthdays are special, the first birthday is the best. In the end, it was great. Everyone had a great time and she did really well!
We made all the food ourselves, ordered a cake, and a friend of mine made the most amazing cake pops. Check her out on lauras_sweets on instagram: http://www.instagram.com/lauras_sweets if you want some custom made desserts! My other friend Chelsea took the most awesome first birthday pictures! Her website is http://www.chelseabphotographynj.com I am so thankful for the friends and family that helped her party be a success. This week I also some stomach issues and insane heartburn. I thought to myself: there has to be oil for that! I have mentioned in the past that I have used peppermint for head support, which they definitely helped this week, but they are also helpful in some heartburn and upset stomach! I put one drop of peppermint in 2 cups of water after about 2 sips; I already started to feel better! To be honest, I could not even finish the water because peppermint is strong! But it helps so much! I also used Tummygize, which is the kid’s blend for tummy troubles on myself and it helped, too!
Last night, I told my husband that it was going to rain and he said why does your hip hurt? For some reason whenever it is going to rain, my right hip kills me. The pain does not go away and it hurts deep in the joint. I can feel it in my bones. For the first time, I applied deep relief to my hip. After about 5 minutes nothing happened, I still couldn’t sleep. But really what works that fast? All the sudden approximately 20 minutes after applying it, it just stopped hurting. I was able to fall asleep and stay asleep for a few hours. Eventually the pain did come back, but knowing I have something at home that can actually help my joint pain is something I never thought would happen. I am so thankful to have been introduced to young living EO’s and am getting to a point where I don’t know what I would do without them!!!
